Bryan Penprase serves as Vice President for Sponsored Research and External Academic Relations at Soka University of America, and was a visiting scholar at UC Berkeley, Harvard, and Stanford. Penprase also was selected as an American Council on Education (ACE) fellow at Yale University and helped design the curriculum for the new Yale-NUS College in Singapore. Penprase served as professor of Physics and Astronomy at Pomona College for 20 years and has a Ph.d in Astrophysics from the University of Chicago. Penprase is the author of two recent books, The New Global Universities: Reinventing Education in the 21st Century (Princeton, with co-author Noah Pickus), and Models of Time and Space - the Foundations of Astrophysical Reality from Across the Centuries (Springer).
