I love engaging with people envisioning and creating the future, as well as exploring how technology will change business, society and the experience of being human. I’m Adjunct Professor of innovation and entrepreneurship at the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago, and the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, and a Dean's Faculty Fellow at the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern. I also co-founded and serve as chair of the World Innovation Network (TWIN), a community of innovation leaders from over 30 countries (www.twinglobal.org). I was recognized as teacher of the year for Kellogg’s EMBA program in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2017. I am also cofounder and managing partner at Clareo, a growth strategy consultancy serving global corporations. I'm an angel investor in over 20 companies including Indiegogo, Lumni, Page Vault, MagicCube.co, SPH Analytics, Abroad.io, ClearCare Online (exited to Battery Ventures) and international art show, EXPO Chicago. I earned a B.A. in European and Chinese history and an M.S. and Ph.D. in industrial engineering and management science from Northwestern University.
