Ian Wilding is the creator of the IDEATE Catalyst and a global leader in innovation strategy. With over 25 years of experience designing and delivering breakthrough programs for Fortune 500s, governments, and scale-ups, he builds tools that unlock transformative ideas and deliver measurable commercial and societal impact. Before founding Hangar 75, Ian co-founded Radical Company, an esteemed European innovation agency, where he developed groundbreaking strategies for some of the world's most innovative brands. He also co-founded Join Sam, a pioneering global bank for children, with a mission to promote financial literacy and inclusion. Ian's expertise has made him a sought-after speaker at prestigious conferences and events worldwide, and a trusted advisor to many global brands, where he shares insights on financial inclusion and literacy, innovation, impact measurement, and idea incubation. He has also served on a UK government committee focused on leveraging technology to enhance banking services for underserved youth communities. Ian holds a BSc (Hons) in Physical Education, Sports Science, and Recreation Management from Loughborough University, where he also serves on the Alumni Board. A former international athlete, now living in Southern California with his wife and 2 children.
