I’m Fiona Kesby, and my leadership story is anything but conventional. As a single mother of two, I sold everything I owned and moved to the Philippines, taking a leap of faith that reshaped both my life and my career. That leap led me to scale GoTeam into a leader in AI-powered outsourcing, where our mission has always been clear: to revolutionize the outsourcing industry and set a new global standard for remote work excellence. This year, we celebrate a milestone: over 1,000 team members in the Philippines and our fourth-straight Great Place to Work® certification—with an 85% engagement score. For context, Gallup reports average engagement at just 35% in the Philippines, 26% across Southeast Asia, 31% in the U.S., 25% in Australia–NZ, 10% in the U.K., and 21% worldwide. These results don’t happen by accident. They’re the outcome of a deeply personal journey and a commitment to doing things differently. In my early days, I walked into rooms where I was told we were “doing things the wrong way.” Instead of following, I chose to lead differently. We pioneered employee benefits like medical insurance from Day 1—a first in the Philippine outsourcing sector. We built a culture that values engagement and growth, with initiatives such as Chief Happiness Officers and “Connection Cards” to foster meaningful conversations across teams. And as AI began reshaping industries, our Founder (and my brother) Matt Kesby and I equipped our teams with future-ready skills, helping clients achieve more with less. These innovations have been recognized by global platforms like Google Business Group and the YPO Construction Industry Network, and honored with awards including Expat of the Year (CEO Asia Forum), a Silver Stevie for Innovative Management, and the ACES Leadership Award. But what drives me most is impact. For every 100 onshore employees, our system helps clients add $2M in net profit within two years—all while creating growth opportunities and career pathways for more than 1,000 team members in the Philippines. At the heart of my leadership is a belief: when you combine people + AI, you don’t just deliver results—you create lasting change in how the world works.
