Having held CEO and Chairman roles for 25+ years. Chase has been a retained advisor to global investment funds, Fortune 50 companies and US presidential campaigns. He launched the Earthshot Foundation in 2008, established his fourth venture, Distributed Sun, in 2009, formed truSolar in 2012, beEdison in 2014 and incubated truCurrent in 2022, spinning it out as a standalone venture in 2024. As the CEO of Distributed Sun, Chase has delivered promised yields across 10+ clean energy investment companies, deploying operating PV and BESS assets in 17 US states. truSolar was co-founded with DuPont and S&P to standardize development practices and underwriting criteria in the US solar industry. truCurrent designs energy transformation roadmaps for F500 companies and deploys microgrid assets to serve new, large-load customer demand, reducing energy risks with economic gains. Chase earned a BS in Management from UNC and interdisciplinary honors at the University of Memphis. He is a multiple-time grant and scholarship recipient and serial adventurer.
