The dynamic CEO of JAG Physical Therapy, John Gallucci, Jr., MS, ATC, PT, DPT, is in demand for his expertise in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and sports medicine. He appears often in the media, including ESPN’s "Outside the Lines,” NJ News12, WFAN, PIX11, Fox5 News, MSG Varsity and is a popular public speaker. In May 2014, Gallucci released his first book titled "Soccer Injury Prevention & Treatment" and in May 2018, his second book "Play Ball," co-authored by Yankees Team Physician Dr. Christopher Ahmad, was published. Recently, he has been honored as one of ROI-NJ's Champions of the C Suite and by the APTANJ with the Distinguished Professional Award. Through his leadership, JAG-ONE Physical Therapy has received many accolades including the Future 50 Award by SmartCEO Magazine, NJBIZ Healthcare Heroes Physical Therapy Company of the Year, Union Business of the Year, Best of Brooklyn, and 4-time Best of Essex Readers’ Choice Awards Winner. Currently, Gallucci is the Medical Coordinator for MLS, coordinating the medical care of over 800 professional soccer players. He is a Sports Medicine consultant for professional athletes. He has worked in the Athletic Departments of Columbia University, New York University and Long Island University, and has been a Clinical Instructor at Columbia University, Seton Hall University, Rutgers University, and Dominican College. Gallucci also sits on the governor-appointed NJ Council on Physical Fitness and Sports. In the local community, his philanthropic efforts have included a leading role in the fundraisers for The Valerie Fund, Barnabas Health, The Arthritis Foundation, and The American Cancer Society. He supports over 100 high schools, college programs and athletic clubs throughout the Tri-State Area.
