Jeanne Allen is committed to ensuring every child has access to 21st-century education and the schools and programs that best meet their needs. As founder and CEO of the Center for Education Reform, she has spent over three decades leading efforts to transform U.S. education. In 2021, Jeanne co-created the $1 million Yass Prize — known as the “Pulitzer of Education” — to honor transformational education providers. She holds a B.A. from Dickinson College and an M.S. in education entrepreneurship from the University of Pennsylvania. Jeanne shares her perspectives regularly in the media, on her podcast In Piazza, and as co-producer of #EdReformin10 with Dash Media. She has authored several publications, including “An Unfinished Journey: Education and the American Dream.” A dame in both the Order of Malta and the Constantinian Order, and an active Catholic, Jeanne cherishes time with her husband Kevin, their four grown children, and grandchildren, where education is always part of the conversation.
