Suba Karuppan is a recognized data and technology executive with over two decades of experience leading digital transformation at the intersection of data, analytics, and AI. She currently serves as Vice President of Data Analytics & AI Solutions. In this role, she drives enterprise-wide initiatives to optimize membership growth, reduce churn, and unlock new revenue streams — advancing the organization’s mission through data-driven innovation. At BIO, Suba spearheaded the enterprise roadmap for Data and AI, building governance frameworks, predictive analytics, and advanced capabilities that deliver measurable outcomes in member engagement and revenue. She also plays a pivotal role in evaluating enterprise platforms, negotiating contracts, and creating an Innovation Hub that integrates culture with technology. Beyond transformation, she invests in people — mentoring staff and interns, and advancing organizational data literacy. Her career spans Wall Street, global nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations. At the College Board, Suba directed high-profile, privacy-forward Data and AI initiatives that connected millions of students to college opportunities. She designed and delivered a secure application suite of five products and two mobile apps — accessed by more than 6 million students and 800+ colleges — in under 10 months, achieving rapid adoption and sustained growth. She also established enterprise governance frameworks aligned with GDPR, CCPA, and COPPA, and created the Data Quality Control Points (DQCP) framework, which improved Tier-1 application data quality by 95% in just six months. Earlier roles at AIG and Credit Suisse deepened her expertise in data strategy, governance, and risk management. A trusted voice in the Data and AI community, Suba serves on the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council, the Quartz Visions CIO/CISO Advisory Board, and the Visions Data Strategy & Analytics Forum Advisory Board. She is also a Forbes Technology Council member and a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University’s inaugural Chief Data & AI Officer Program. A frequent global speaker, she has delivered keynotes at Stanford’s Women in Engineering Conference, the Women in Tech Conference at SITA, the Data Governance & Information Quality (DGIQ) Conference, and other global stages — recognized for simplifying complex topics and creating frameworks that help organizations embed governance, scale AI adoption, and achieve lasting transformation.
