I’ve been in the technology industry for more than two decades, serving in leadership roles spanning strategy to execution while transforming multi-billion dollar businesses. As CEO of Hitachi Vantara LLC, my focus is on accelerating growth through transformation and innovation with a customer-first mindset. I am honored to lead the company developing and delivering hybrid cloud data infrastructure solutions designed to address the heart of our customers’ business challenges. Our goal at Hitachi Vantara is simple: to help our customers more effectively extract value from their data, and, in the face of increasingly complex business requirements and IT environments, to spur innovation. It’s an exciting time to be in the technology industry, as innovations from Generative AI to cloud computing and more, present ever greater opportunities as well as challenges, simultaneously. Our company’s industry-leading storage and hybrid cloud data infrastructure portfolio is designed specifically to help companies capitalize on these opportunities to drive greater insights from their data. Prior to Hitachi Vantara, I was senior vice president and general manager of the Data Infrastructure Business at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). Before HPE, I spent 10 years at NetApp where I served as SVP of Customer Success and led an enterprise-wide transformation as Chief Transformation Officer. In addition, I spent 12 years at Cisco leading business operations and held quality engineering and manufacturing roles at Bay Networks. I am passionate about social causes. I enjoy serving on the Women in Engineering (WIE) Advisory Board at my alma matter, the University of Maryland at College Park, and as a board member of Ayati, a charitable organization that brings hygienic education and materials to girls in rural areas of India. I live in the Bay Area in California and enjoy traveling, hiking, and cooking with my family. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland.
