I am a keynote speaker, professor, workshop facilitator, writer and consultant focused on equity, justice, and the future of work. I founded an award-winning consultancy, BWG Business Solutions, where I provide guidance and education for workplaces looking to foster more equitable environments. I’ve been trusted by Amazon, Yale University, Salesforce, Dove, Verizon/Yahoo, Nordstrom, Paypal/Venmo, H&M, Indeed, and many others, to advance their equity strategies. I am the author of the three best-selling books: Decentering Whiteness in the Workplace, The Pink Elephant, and Dirty Diversity, with a forthcoming book Rise and Resist. I was named a LinkedIn Top Voice in Racial Equity and I curate a weekly newsletter on LinkedIn called "The Pink Elephant", which has amassed over 100,000 subscribers. I am the author of a LinkedIn Learning course, Awareness to Action: Level Up as a Change Agent in Your Organization, and a Udemy Business course, Recruiting and Retaining Diverse Talent. I host the Dirty Diversity podcast, which is focused on all things DEI and share essays on Substack exploring the intersection of power, bias, and culture. In addition to Forbes, I have written for Harvard Business Review, Fast Company, and Business Insider. I have a Ph.D. in organizational psychology from Hofstra University and I’m a two-time TEDx speaker. I’ve become increasingly focused on how artificial intelligence, algorithmic bias, and emerging technologies are reshaping equity in the workplace. My keynotes and workshops help organizations navigate these shifts with clarity, courage, and a commitment to justice. Outside of speaking and writing, I spend my time getting lost in a good audiobook, lifting heavy in the gym, and perfecting my Jollof rice recipe.
