I have seen the practice of law change dramatically over the years but still see opportunities for improvement. With twenty years of in-the-trenches litigation and business experience, my view is radically different with a distinct perspective to see solutions where others see complexity. As a founding partner of Gilson Daub LLP, I am proud to have helped create an innovative law firm culture that asks, “How can we make it better? How can we provide the absolute best customer service and results for our clients?” The strategy to establish fourteen California offices and expand to Nevada, Missouri, Kansas, Arizona, and Hawaii, reduce caseloads to increase quality and provide bonuses for cases closed rather than hours billed, is a key to Gilson Daub’s spectacular growth - and aligning the goals of our clients and our attorneys provides Gilson Daub the continued opportunity to work with the best employers, insurance companies, and administrators in the country. I have also obtained a Bachelor's of Arts (B.A.) Degree in Pre-Law/Criminal Justice from the University of Central Oklahoma, a Jurist Doctorate (J.D.) and a Masters’ Degree in Dispute Resolution (M.D.R.) from Pepperdine University School of Law, and a Doctorate in Interdisciplinary Leadership (I.L.D.) from Creighton University. My doctoral dissertation research was conducted on the subject of managing attorneys in flexible working programs. In addition to my law work, I enjoy family time with my wife and four children in San Clemente, California.
