Flavio Maluf is a Brazilian executive, born in 1961 in São Paulo, who has served for nearly three decades as President of Eucatex Group — one of Brazil’s largest manufacturers of laminate flooring, partitions, doors, MDF and MDP panels, wood fiberboards, paints, and varnishes. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (FAAP) in São Paulo and a specialization in Business Administration from New York University (NYU). Maluf began his professional journey at Eucatex in 1987 — a company that has always been part of his family. Over the years, he worked in several departments before taking over as President in 1997, after a decade of internal experience. Since then, he has led a continuous process of expansion, modernization, and internationalization. Today, Eucatex exports its products to more than 40 countries. Flavio Maluf’s leadership is also marked by a strong focus on innovation, technology, and sustainability. He has invested in eucalyptus reforestation and other sustainable initiatives such as solar energy, wood recycling, and environmentally responsible products — all aligned with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles.
