Tia Katz is the founder and CEO of Hu-X, a boutique consultancy that unites more than 90 world-class leadership- and organizational-development practitioners, alongside subject-matter experts in must-have disciplines like applied AI and conflict management. Hu-X serves an equally wide spectrum of clients—from fast-moving start-ups to Fortune 500 organizations—helping them build robust talent pipelines, design future-ready cultures, and craft models that stay resilient in crisis. Hu-X’s research division runs cutting-edge studies aimed at elevating the human experience at work and translating those insights into practical tools for leaders. Prior to establishing Hu-X, Tia was IBM’s Global Head of Senior Executive Development, guiding the growth of the company’s 4,000 most senior leaders, and held leadership roles in Citi’s Executive Development department. She also founded a nonprofit, and explored unconventional paths in construction, professional dance, and television production—an eclectic background that lets her weave diverse perspectives into strategies that drive real-world impact. Tia holds an MA in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and a BA with honors and was inducted into the US Psi Chi national Honor Society.
