Dr. Sharon GE Washington is a nationally recognized leadership coach, organizational strategist, and expert in resilience-based, trauma-informed approaches to culture transformation in healthcare. As the founder and CEO of Sharon Washington Consulting and creator of the Critically Conscious Connections learning platform, she helps healthcare leaders, educators, and institutions strengthen leadership capacity, reduce burnout, and build trust across teams. With more than 20 years of experience in medical education, organizational development, and curriculum design, Dr. Washington has guided over 25 health systems, medical schools, and residency programs through complex organizational change. Her firm’s integrated approach combines executive coaching, climate and culture assessments, and long-term strategy development to align leadership practices with institutional values and patient care priorities. Drawing on somatic practices, reflective inquiry, and systems-level analysis, Dr. Washington supports leaders in navigating conflict, mitigating stress, and embedding sustainable, values-driven leadership into the core of healthcare organizations. Her signature coaching programs and online courses focus on stress resilience, navigating high-conflict environments, and courageous accountability. Through individualized and institutional support, Sharon helps leaders align vision, values, and practice—especially in times of political retrenchment and professional burnout. Sharon earned her bachelor's degree in African American Studies from Temple University, her Masters in Public Health (MPH) from Columbia University, and her Doctorate in Health Education from Teachers College of Columbia University.
