Raj Jhaveri is the Chief Technology Officer at Greenlane™, a Joint Venture between Blackrock, Daimler Truck NA, and NextEra Energy. Raj brings over 16 years of extensive experience in technology development, integration (both software and hardware), engineering, and strategic technical business development within various industries. A highly regarded figure in the EV Charging Industry, Raj has actively contributed to industry advancements through continuous participation in organizations such as the Open Charge Alliance, Alliance for Transportation Electrification, and the US Federal NEVI Program. Prior to joining Greenlane, Raj served as the VP of Technology and an investor at EV Connect, one of the largest companies in the EV charging network space (acquired by Schneider Electric in 2022). During his 5-year tenure, Raj played a pivotal role in spearheading innovative EV charging technology and software solutions. Notably, he led the development of key features including the driver charging mobile application, Hardware interoperability test cases, CMS White Label/API product solutions, eMSP roaming features, charging data product features, hardware commissioning tools, Demand Response tools (OpenADR), and an AI-Driven Station Diagnostics NOC & Triage/Ticketing tool inspired by his healthcare background. Before his impactful tenure at EV Connect, Raj served as a CTO and founder of multiple healthcare companies, where he authored patents and garnered recognition in publications like Entrepreneur Magazine, TechCrunch, and WSJ. Raj holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and biology from The Ohio State University, an MS from Harvard/MIT, and an Executive MBA from The Wharton School (University of Pennsylvania).
