Boris Skurikhin is the co-founder and CTO of Docket, a Y Combinator–backed startup pioneering the future of software testing through vision-based automation. Supported by leading investors including Ignite Ventures and Progressive Ventures, Docket equips engineering teams with powerful infrastructure to automate complex testing workflows, accelerate release cycles, and ship with confidence. Before launching Docket, Boris was a software engineer at Citadel, where he designed and developed the core research and reporting framework used across the Fixed Income & Macro division. His work enabled thousands of parallel live research workflows. He also developed real-time calculation and charting services, laying the foundation for portfolio optimization and analytics used daily by traders. Earlier in his career, Boris was a software engineer at Patreon, where he ranked in the top 10% of engineers for driving key growth initiatives. He partnered with machine learning teams to power Patreon’s first recommendation engine. He also rebuilt the logged-out experience during Patreon’s 2023 rebrand, architected its CMS and internationalization stack, and scaled marketing and analytics systems to a global audience.
