Hessie Jones is a strategist, investor and startup founder who writes about AI and transformation. She advocates for human-centered AI, education and the ethical distribution of artificial intelligence. Hessie cofounded Personally identifiable Information Standards Architecture (PIISA), developing an open model to detect and remediate PII in large datasets and large language models. She is a board member of Women in AI Ethics, and Technology for Good Canada and is the innovation manager with Altitude Accelerator. She previously launched ArCompany in social intelligence research and AI readiness. In her work, she aims to advance the quality of human-computer experiences through values-based innovation prioritizing human-centered design. She has over 20 years' experience and has worked at Yahoo! Citi, Aegis Media and numerous tech startups. Hessie has also written for GritDaily, Huffington Post and Towards Data Science.
