Based in London, Nicole Kobie has covered technology and transport for two decades. She's the author of The Long History of the Future and in her reporting has taken a ride on the world's first autonomous bus, watched flying cars take off, and created a minor diplomatic incident by criticising one particular smart city. She's now a freelance journalist but has previously covered technology for PC Pro, and graduated with a journalism degree from Goldsmiths College, University of London, and political science from the University of Calgary, where she's originally from.
