After various stints at newspapers and magazines, he finally launched Film Colossus in 2018. There, he spends time chasing the deeper meaning of the movies that confuse and amaze us, helping people to form deeper connections with films through active viewing techniques. He also hosts The Film Colossus Podcast, where he and Chris Lambert dissect movies down to the finest details. His career has led him to several film festivals, including Toronto and Sundance. He has written for Forbes since 2020. He writes about the best movies to watch on streaming platforms, with a specific focus on Netflix. His writing always tries to focus on a movie's depth and what viewers can take away from the experience.
