Gerui Wang is a lecturer at Stanford University. She writes and teaches on the impact of AI and emerging technologies on society, culture, and media. Her work spans AI ethics, robotics, gaming, the metaverse, arts, and creativity, with publications in major venues including the Alan Turing Institute’s AI & Arts Forum, Australian National University’s CIW, Asia Times, The Wire China, and the South China Morning Post. Gerui’s research has been supported by various fellowships and grants, including the Software Sustainability Institute Fellowship, Freer Fellowships, the University of California Santa Cruz Professional Development Grant, Stanford University Teaching Advancement Grant, the Freetorino Scholarship, the Peking American School Fellowship, the Morningside Scholarships, among others.
