After graduating with a journalism degree from the University of Oregon, I immediately packed my bags for L.A. This is where I enjoyed a six-year stint covering celebrity news at E! and People at the height of celebrity gossip. From there, I launched a beauty/lifestyle blog, Skyelyfe.com, which slowly transitioned me over to the space I’m in now. Since 2019, I’ve written compelling deep dives, trend reports, founder features and experiential pieces for Glossy, Beauty Independent, Well+Good, Mane Addicts, IPSY, Real Simple, Molly Sims’ YSE Beauty blog and more. Journalism aside, I'm also immersed in spiritual healing, paleo cooking, walking everywhere and discovering hidden gems on Spotify.
