An international trade policy scholar/ expert/ consultant, I am the founder of Ikenomics Consulting (www.ikenomics.com); former Director of Trade, Investment, and Innovation at the Asia Society Policy Institute in Washington, DC; former Director of Policy Research at NDP Analytics; former Director of the Cato Institute's Center for Trade Policy Studies, where I researched, wrote, and spoke about all manner of trade policy from October 2000 until March 2021.Much of my published work can be found at this link: https://www.cato.org/people/daniel-j-ikenson, though googling with specifics might be best.Before 2000, I was Director of International Trade Planning for an international accounting and business advisory firm. I co-founded the Library of International Trade Resources (LITR), a consulting firm providing interactive information access and international trade consulting. Before that, I was a trade policy and antidumping analyst at a few different international trade law practices in Washington, DC. I am the author of hundreds of studies and articles on trade policy, and coauthor of the book Antidumping Exposed: The Devilish Details of Unfair Trade Law.
