I’m a keynote speaker, author and project management evangelist. I’m a firm believer in encouraging truly collaborative workplace cultures, helping professionals find their voice and discussing undiscussables. My advice is sometimes tough love but always intended to be an impetus for authentic improvement. Over my career as a project manager, business strategy consultant, and corporate trainer, I’ve found that oftentimes water cooler conversations and whispered advice contain some of the most valuable professional guidance. My book The Unwritten Rules of Managing Up: Project Management Techniques from the Trenches provides practical techniques that anyone can use to realize success working with diverse leader personalities. My business expertise has been highlighted in Huffington Post, The Wall Street Journal, CNN, Working Mother, and Entrepreneur. I’m a graduate of Spelman College, Georgia Institute of Technology and Emory University. Connect with me @DanaBrownlee on LinkedIn or danapbrownlee@professionalismmatters.com.
