I am a science journalist currently working as a journal development editor at BioMed Central, part of Springer Nature. Prior to my time as a journal editor, I held a full-time position on the science team at Newsweek where I covered health and medicine. I have also worked as a staff writer for Medical Daily and freelancer for The Endometriosis Foundation of America. I have a Masters in Journalism and Media Communications from the University of Hertfordshire in the UK and have focused on healthcare for the majority of my professional career.
