I've spent the past decade working for online news organizations and newspapers. I'm currently a field editor for Patch. Some of the organizations I've worked for include the Houston Chronicle, Lexington Herald-Leader, Daily Dot, and the Syracuse Post-Standard. I've also had bylines in the Guardian, National Audubon Society, and the New York Observer. Outside of writing, I spent three years teaching some journalism courses at the University of Kentucky.
