I am a lecturer at UCLA where I teach courses on psychology and gender. I have been published in The New York Times and Los Angeles Times, have discussed gender issues on Fox News, NPR and BBC. My book, Sex and the Office: Women, Men and the Sex Partition that’s Dividing the Workplace, describes my take on what’s holding women back at work. I hold a Ph.D. in Psychology from UCLA and two graduate degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The inspiration for my research on women at work stems from my prior career developing quantitative proprietary equity trading strategies for Morgan Stanley.
